Foster Carers

Earn up to £29,000 – Self employed

Plus maintenance allowances of £6240/£7280 depending upon age of child.

The Role

  • You and your household will provide a safe and secure home for a young person who has experienced trauma
  • You will be part of a network of Foster Carers throughout Scotland.
  • You will work alongside the parents of children in your care, and their social workers to ensure the best care possible.
  • You will be interested in supporting young people to recover from the trauma of early life experiences
  • You will have fun, energy and commitment to thinking creatively at supporting young people in your care.

  • On going training and support, including 24 hour support from fostering staff
  • The opportunity to help improve the life chances of young people placed in your care.

    This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure from Disclosure Scotland, as part of a comprehensive assessment process, including personal and professional references, and local authority background checks.
